2005 World Champion Lance Miller, Nationally Acclaimed Motivational Speaker Inspires His Listeners By Speaking From the Heart"
(Ventura, CA) The Ventura Toastmasters Club #24 welcomes Distinguished Toastmaster and the 2005 World Speaking Champion Lance Miller to Ventura. Mr. Miller will present a seminar on "Finding Your Voice" from 7:00pm-9:00pm, Monday, April 14 at Marie Callender's, 1295 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura, CA 93003. Registration begins at 6:30pm. Cost is $15 per person.
The old-age excuse people have for avoiding public speaking is, "I don't have anything to say. My life is boring." You don't have to have a life-and-death experience or be an Olympic Champion to have a story to share. Mr.Miller says, "You may not think so at the moment but you do have a message to share. The more personal and passionate your story is, the better."
There's nothing like a speech from the heart.
We all hear dozens, if not hundreds, of speeches a year. They can range from the local Rotary meeting variety to a world class celebrity.
But the speeches that the most reaction and are remembered longer, are those from individuals -- some famous, some not -- who seem to be speaking from their hearts, not their mouths.
This is an interactive workshop. Attendees will learn how to find the powerful and impactful messages within. Mr. Miller lead with some writing basics and the audience will write an inspirational speech.
Lance Miller is an award winning speaker and speech coach. He brings to the podium a unique mix of talent and life experience that has shaped his philosophy and viewpoint of the world. Over the last 15 years he has appeared on over 100 television and radio shows and delivered over 1500 speeches in more than 20 countries around the world.
